Delhi, 14 November 2025:
A group of girl students from Govt. Sarvodaya Girls Senior Secondary School No. 2, Khyala visited the Digital Sathi Training Centre, located at the Office of the District Magistrate (West), Rajouri Garden. The visit was organised as part of an industrial exposure initiative aimed at introducing young students to emerging career pathways in digital technology and skill development.
The Digital Sathi Centre—recently established by IACT Education in collaboration with Trinity Foundation—is an advanced computer and skill development facility dedicated to empowering youth through practical digital training. The centre functions within the premises of the District Magistrate (West Delhi) office and focuses on equipping students with future-ready skills.
During the visit, students were briefed on various career-oriented programs, digital tools, and modern technologies that form the foundation of today’s professional world. The interactive sessions helped them understand opportunities in IT, digital services, e-governance, and skill-based employment.
Shri Nitin Shhakya, SDM Patel Nagar, addressed the visiting students and highlighted the importance of digital literacy for the next generation. He emphasized that initiatives like Digital Sathi are instrumental in shaping confident, skilled youth who can contribute effectively to the nation’s growing digital ecosystem.
Supporting this initiative, the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, has also issued a directive to Heads of Schools (HOS) encouraging similar industrial and educational visits. The goal is to provide students with real-world exposure and inspire them to explore skill-based career options.
The visit concluded with positive feedback from students and teachers, who appreciated the practical insights and hands-on learning experience provided by the Digital Sathi Centre.
