Delhi Police YUVA Scheme: 610 youths selected for jobs

A mega job fair was organised in West District under the YUVA Scheme of Delhi Police at the Punjabi Bagh Police Station which in 610 youths were provided jobs in various reputed companies. 

Yuva, an initiative of the Delhi Police, implemented under the aegis of the PMKVY in West District. Training partner IACT Education Pvt. Ltd. has been imparting skill training to candidates in the job roles of makeup artist, mobile handset repairing, domestic and data entry operator. There are two skill training centers running in West District, Punjabi Bagh and Kirti Nagar, said a police official.

The Yuva programme has been initiated with a motto to provide job opportunities to the youth who are vulnerable to crime or those with inadequate means, he said. 

Today, the fair was organised for the trainees who have completed their training in Punjabi Bagh and Kirti Nagar centers under the Yuva Scheme.
