Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship outcome-based skill training scheme of the new Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The objective of this skill certification and reward scheme is to enable and mobilize a large number of Indian youth to take up outcome based skill training and become employable and earn their livelihood. Under the scheme, monetary reward would be provided to trainees who are successfully trained, assessed and certified in skill courses run by affiliated training providers.

In this scheme 24 lakhs youth will be trained and Rs. 1,500 Carore will be expended in this scheme. We had affiliation of more over 35 centres across the country.

Skill India

The overall focus is to provide an engaging ecosystem to cater to skilling needs of citizens by publishing and sharing relevant information. The outcome of this collaboration should ideally lead to inclusive growth especially for those at the bottom of the pyramid (approximately 800 million citizens). This initiative is to disseminate reliable information and by providing an interface to enquire, explore, and access and engage with various affiliated and accredited training partners, infrastructure providers, understand skill options, opportunities, information on various providers, reliable and credible digital content.

Skill India initiative is mainly targeted at citizens seeking to enhance their existing skills. Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship along with National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) has partnered with CMC to develop this platform which is completely integrated with NSDC’s Skill Development Management System (SDMS).

Digital India

Digital India is an initiative by the Government of India to ensure that Government services are made available to citizens electronically by improving online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity. It was launched on July 1, 2015 by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The initiative includes plans to connect rural areas with high-speed internet networks. Digital India has three core components.

These include:

• The creation of digital infrastructure
• Delivering services digitally
• Digital literacy

A two-way platform will be created where both the service providers and the consumers stand to benefit. The scheme will be monitored and controlled by the Digital India Advisory group which will be chaired by the Ministry of Communications and IT. It will be an inter-Ministerial initiative where all ministries and departments shall offer their own services to the public Healthcare, Education, Judicial services etc. The Public–private partnership model shall be adopted selectively.

RASCI - we represent the retail industry in India.

RASCI is a collaborative and comprehensive source of retail expertise and independent advice for industry, training organizations, educational institutions, certifying bodies, employees, students or jobseekers about skills development in the retail industry.

Ministry of Corporate Affair

(Registrar of Companies, NCT Delhi & Haryana)

The Ministry is primarily concerned with administration of the Companies Act, 1956, other allied Acts and rules & regulations framed there-under mainly for regulating the functioning of the corporate sector in accordance with law. The Ministry is also responsible for administering the Competition Act, 2002 which will eventually replace the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969 under which the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Commission(MRTPC) is functioning. Besides, it exercises supervision over the three professional bodies, namely, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI), Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) which are constituted under three separate Acts of the Parliament for proper and orderly growth of the professions concerned. The Ministry also has the responsibility of carrying out the functions of the Central Government relating to administration of Partnership Act, 1932, the Companies (Donations to National Funds) Act, 1951 and Societies Registration Act, 1980.
