New Delhi, October 30, 2025:
In a major step toward strengthening Delhi’s school education system, the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has announced 5,346 vacancies for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Drawing Teachers, and Special Education Teachers under the Directorate of Education and NDMC.

The recruitment, released under Advertisement No. 06/2025, aims to ensure that students studying in classes 6 to 10 across government and municipal schools receive personalized guidance and high-quality teaching in every subject.

🎓 Educational Qualifications

For TGT Posts (All Subjects):

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject with minimum 50% marks,
or Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks,
or 4-year Integrated Course (B.El.Ed./B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed.) from an NCTE-recognized institute.

B.Ed. or integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. degree mandatory.

Must have qualified CTET Paper-II conducted by CBSE.

For Drawing Teachers:

5-year Diploma in Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art, or

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Fine Arts with 2-year diploma.

Knowledge of Hindi up to 10th/12th preferred.

For Special Education Teacher (NDMC):

Graduate with B.Ed. (Special Education) or equivalent Diploma/PG Diploma in Special Education,

Must have passed CTET Paper-II.

💰 Pay Scale

₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400/- (Pay Level-7, Group B, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)
Teachers will be appointed under the 7th Central Pay Commission structure.

🎯 Age Criteria

Maximum Age: 30 years (as on 07 November 2025)

Relaxation:

SC/ST – 5 years

OBC – 3 years

PwBD – 10 years

Govt. servants, women & ex-servicemen – as per DSSSB norms

🧩 Selection Process

Recruitment will be done through a One-Tier Computer-Based Test (CBT) of 200 marks (duration: 2 hours).

Exam Structure:

Section A (100 Marks): General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Hindi & English Comprehension

Section B (100 Marks): Subject Knowledge + Teaching Methodology

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
Final merit will be prepared based on normalized scores of the written test.
