IACT Education Empowers Adolescent Girls Through Free Digital Literacy Program SKV Mandawali

New Delhi, October 16, 2025:
In a remarkable step toward bridging the digital divide and empowering young women through education, IACT Education, West Vinod Nagar, Delhi Centre, successfully completed a 45-day Digital Literacy Course (DLC) for the students of Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya No. 1, Mandawali, Delhi.

The initiative was conceptualized and implemented under IACT Education’s broader mission of promoting women empowerment through digital inclusion and skill-based learning. The specially designed course was offered entirely free of cost, ensuring access for students from all backgrounds to gain essential digital literacy skills, hands-on computer training, and nationally recognized certification.

Throughout the 45-day program, participants learned key aspects of computer fundamentals, operating systems, internet browsing, online safety, email communication, and basic office applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The training focused not only on improving technical proficiency but also on building confidence, creativity, and curiosity among adolescent girls to explore opportunities in the digital world.

IACT Education’s faculty and trainers played an instrumental role in mentoring the students, making learning interactive and relevant to real-life needs. The initiative also received active cooperation and encouragement from the school authorities of Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya No. 1, Mandawali, who welcomed the partnership as a valuable step in enhancing the students’ academic experience and employability potential.

At the culmination of the training program, a certificate distribution ceremony was organized, where all participants were felicitated for their active participation, discipline, and dedication. The smiling faces of the students reflected the success of the initiative and the sense of empowerment it fostered.
