West Delhi, January 9, 2026: The NULM Division under the District Magistrate Office, West Delhi, in collaboration with Trinity Foundation and IACT Education, successfully organized a one-day Entrepreneurship Awareness Program for candidates of the Digital Sathi Project at Room No. 104, District Magistrate Office, West District. The program was conducted by the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) and aimed to promote entrepreneurial thinking and provide practical guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs, youth, and self-employment seekers.

The Digital Sathi Project, conceptualized by Dr. Nitin Shhakya, SDM Patel Nagar, is a visionary initiative to empower youth, especially women and EWS candidates, by facilitating Digital Sathi Kendras and providing digital and entrepreneurial skill training.

The program covered key areas including entrepreneurship awareness, financial literacy, government schemes, business opportunity identification, motivational guidance, and the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme. Participants engaged with senior government officials, banking professionals, and industry experts, gaining practical insights and interactive guidance to help them establish and run successful entrepreneurial ventures.

Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Nitin Shhakya said, “Our vision is to create a digitally empowered and self-reliant youth community in West Delhi. This program equips women and EWS candidates with the skills and knowledge to contribute to local development while building sustainable livelihoods.”

The program concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of all speakers, officials, and participants. The initiative reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to youth empowerment, skill development, and inclusive economic growth.
